Arranged by genre in the order: plays for stage, screen and radio; film scripts; dramatic sketches; prose works; poetry. Arranged alphabetically by title within each genre. Volumes within each title are arranged chronologically. The original order of the papers within each volume has been maintained where possible. Includes both produced and currently [2008] un-produced works and published and currently [2008] unpublished works. Pinter decided to revisit the text in 1979 and the play was first staged at Hampstead Theatre, 24 April 1980, directed by Harold Pinter. First published as The Hothouse, Methuen (1980). A number of the letters have been annotated at a later date with the surnames of the correspondents. The letters were originally stored in lever arch files; in this catalogue each volume represents one lever arch file, unless otherwise stated. Not all names within each folder have been indexed. The award ceremony took place at the Swedish Academy in Stockholm on 7 Dec. 2005. Pinter's Nobel Lecture 'Art, Truth and Politics' was pre-recorded and delivered via video.
