Japanese flag taken during operations of South East Asia Command, in the Arakan, Burma, 1943. Flag given to SHOJIRO or MASAJIRO first name) HAYAKAWA of Toho Dyeing Works Co. Ltd., conveying good fortune on his going to the war; signed by friends and relatives, and possibly by staff of company.
