MOLD SAVINGS BANK RECORDS - PERMANENTLY WITHDRAWN

Scope and Content

Mold Savings Bank was founded in 1818. In 1910 it amalgamated with the Chester, Wrexham and District Savings Bank (later known as Chester, Wrexham and North Wales Savings Bank). These records were permanently withdrawn on 28th April 1998, and are now held by Lloyds TSB Bank at their London HQ archives. However, microfilm copies are available of items D/DM/1046/1-5 on MF/1050.
