Scope and Content

This volume contains tracts and papers relating to the Civil War, which were sent to David Pennant, High Sheriff of Flintshire in 1642, and preserved by him. They are bound in one volume.

Purchased at Messrs Christie, Manson & Woods' auction sale on 22nd April 1970; deposited at Flintshire Record Office on 12th May 1970 by Lord Kenyon.
