Contains transcription of letter from Margaret Lloyd George, Brynawelon, Criccieth, 16 Sept 1917 saying that Mr Lloyd George would like to buy a tree on which he carved his name as a young boy in Llanystumdwy. Also contains transcription of reply from Joseph Owen & Sons saying they would be honoured if Mr Lloyd George would accept the piece of timber and have made arrangements for it to be delivered to Brynawelon.
