Ithell Kelly, (fl. c. 1930-1993), of Wrexham, Flintshire, researched the collieries of the North Wales Coalfield in Denbighshire and Flintshire, and wrote several papers on the subject. From 1969 to c. 1973, Kelly was the manager of Gresford Colliery, Denbighshire. These papers were accumulated c.1968-1993.
