Letters from W. Noel Davies (Rosemead, Tudor Avenue, Prestatyn), to J.M. Dunn, railway historian, concerning railways of North Wales and elsewhere (with valuable references to railway personalities at the turn of the century). Indexed.

W. Noel Davies worked in the road motor department of the London Midland Steam Railway (LMSR), retiring in 1944. See: J.I.C. Boyd, Wrexham, Mold & Connah's Quay Railway, 1991.

J.M. Dunn, born 1898, spent all his working life with locomotives. After apprenticeship with the London and North Western Railway (LNWR) at Willesden, he was stationed at various places in Wales, including Llandudno Junction and Bangor.
