Cae Bricks won the Ministry of Helth Bronz medal for the best Urban housing Scheme in Wales, 1954. Contractor: John Hughes, Wrexham. It resulted in the reduction of Headroom to 7ft 6inches nation wide. [This is marked on the envelope and packaging for the photographs and these are preserved with the photographs].
