Scope and Content

These items were received as a gift in April 1995 as accession 3964. Chislehampton House was built in 1768 for Charles Peers, son of a Lord Mayor of London. It was designed by Samuel Dowbiggin,a London builder and is the only known example of his work. Barcote Manor House was built in 1875 in Tudor style.
