Series of sorties flown by units of 106 (Photographic Reconnaissance) Wing. Formed on the 26th June 1943, the Wing controlled all the photographic reconnaissance units within the UK at the time, other than those assigned to the 2nd Tactical Air Force. The Wing comprised the following units: 7th Photographic Reconnaissance Group, USAAF, 540 Squadron, RAF, 541 Squadron, RAF, 542 Squadron, RAF, 543 Squadron, RAF, 544 Squadron, RAF.
