Scope and Content

Memento from a ship's voyage from New York to Southampton, a postcard sized print of the ship RMS Olympic at sea, in black on cream card. The passenger liner has four funnels and two masts, viewed from the fore. On the reverse is text giving information on the voyage in black.

Note: the text on the reverse lists sections in the journey from Mar to Apr 1930, and the miles travelled for each section, with notes on the weather.

Physical Characteristics and/or Technical Requirements

Poor condition. Card yellowed, foxing in patches , creasing top left and bottom left corners, black flecks on left side of image, abrasions to corners, text on reverse faded. Production method: mechanically printed on card
