Postcard of a black and white photograph of a town and harbour, with ships on the sea and hills in the distance beyond the water, taken from high up. Approximately eleven war ships are visible. Slightly brownish in tone the image is printed on white card. On the reverse is a manuscript latter in black, (continued from 7KDC/B2/6) which takes up the entire postcard, covering the weather, a villa where 1500 of the refugees live. With a number three at the top. (There is no address or postage stamp).

Image faded, light scratching to surface, abrasions to corners. Dirty marks bottom right corner (front). Brown discolouration (possibly mould growth beginning) top-left and top edges. Production method: mechanically printed from a photograph, on card.
