From 19th to 23rd October 1911 a conference entitled 'Unrest among theworking classes' was held at All Soul's College, Oxford. The attendees weremembers of the Conservative and Unionist Party. The conference discussed therelationship between social unrest and poverty. The proceedings wereprivately printed as Papers on Unrest among the Working Classes read to afew Unionist MPs at Oxford, 19-23 October 1911 by L.S. Amery and others.
