Administrative / Biographical History

Nancy McIntosh was an American-born actress and singer, and one of Gilbert's theatrical protégés. After retiring from the stage McIntosh lived with Gilbert and his wife at Grim's Dyke and eventually inherited the Gilbert estate following Lucy Gilbert's death in 1936.
