Scope and Content

Penley Hospital was originally built during the Second World War as a military hospital for the US forces. After the war it began to be used as a Polish hospital, which was staffed mainly by Polish nationals, assisted by a few British staff.

This collection consists of one staff pension book.

This catalogue has been arranged in the same way as other hospital records (i.e. Administrative records, Patient records, staff records etc) so there is room for accrurals. However, accrurals are unlikely.
