Administrative / Biographical History
Hollingworth Industrial Co-operative Society was formed in 1864. In 1933 the society transferred its engagements to Glossop Dale Co-operative Society. At the point of transferring they had 747 members and a branch shop at Mottram-in-Longdendale.

Acquisition Information
Transferred to the National Co-operative Archive from the Co-operative Union Library in 2000. The collection had been part of the Co-operative Union's Miscellaneous Minute Books collection.
