Leaf from the Sermones of St. Augustine, containing Sermon 58, lines 8-156. First line 1r: ipse est aduocatus noster : qui venturus est. First line 1v: ristiam tua(m) : quotidianu(m) cibu(m) . Norunt en(im) fi.
Physical Description: Single paper leaf printed in two columns, slightly foxed and yellowed, with running titles. Paper dimensions 308 x 220 mm, printed space with titles 237 x 150 mm, without titles 226 x 150 mm, space between columns 8 mm, text columns 71 mm, 52 lines per column. Running titles are Homelia XLII (recto) and Sancti Augustini (verso), quire mark f2. Printed with marginal notes identifying quotes from the New Testament. Some minor contemporary marginal notation and underlining in brown ink, including a maniculum at the top of the left column recto; modern pencil note reading J. Amerbach 1494/5 in upper left corner of recto.
