From Richard Henderson in Hanham near Bristol, to Sarah Wesley in Chesterfield Street, London, thanking her for her kind letter. Henderson was not at home when it arrived which accounts for this late reply.
It appears that there has been some misunderstanding about the manuscript. Everything that was entrusted to his son [John], has now been passed to Miss Stafford according to Sarah's wish. Their 'late dear Revd Friend' [Charles Wesley] often spoke of his diary been 'revised' [edited] by John but nothing ever came of it.
He trusts that Sarah's health is much better.
