Matters discussed include individual locations such as drapery department, Almond Street, Olympia, slaughterhouse, central mess room, bakery, dairy, creamery, and stables. Matters discussed also include hardware, marble fitting, repairs, apprentices, fire escape, plastering, and wall papers.
There were additional loose sheets and smaller items included within the minute book, which are now in a separate archival folder. These include Painting Department invoices, application forms for employment at Derby Co-operative Provident Society, and a copy of a resolution passed July 27th, 1916, concerning the reinstatement at the end of the war of employees who have joined the army .
The inner back pages have lists headed 1915 and 1917. These are lists of men's names, with locations, dates, and departments.
A pocket inside the back cover contains loose sheets of memoranda, agendas, and other documents, dated August-October 1915.
