Building Committee minute book. Matters referred to include individual locations such as Wood St Garage, drapery tea room, and cobblers shop.

Matters also discussed include war bonus for Building and Wheelwrights departments, memorial tablet for employees killed in the war, wallpapers, stock-taking, lifts, heating, holidays, lighting (including emergency lights), numbering doors, rats, and window-cleaning.

There were additional loose documents within the minute book, which are now in a separate archival folder. These are from the Derby Co-operative Provident Society, and include hardware and furnishing statements. There is also an architect's drawing for Proposed shop London Road Alvaston for the Derby Co-operative Society Limited, Scale 1/8 inch="one" foot.
