On page two it is noted that each branch shop should have, in addition to its ordinary order book, a special book so that all goods and enquiries can be recorded. From page 115 onwards the pages are blank. This is because the Soho Society merged with the Birmingham Society on 6 July 1925.
At the back of this item there is a pocket holding various loose papers including, a statement of purchase for the week ending 8 September 1924, two employees' handwritten sickness notes, a doctors note, an order form, a summary statement of the terms of employment in operation in the Co-operative Societies Midland Division and typed correspondance to and from the Committee, mainly regarding stock and orders. There are also several estimated stock lists at the back.
