Marjorie (Madge) Fraser married sea captain Richard (Dick) Jones of Caernarfon. Her letters to family members show she was well educated and well travelled before her marriage and her letters from her and her husband, after their marriage testify to her happiness with life aboard ship. The letters which are often detailed and lively include some from Germany, Argentina, USA; Australia. She died in 1897 and her husband continued to write to her family.
