Administrative / Biographical History
Jan Langan (ca.1930s-2009) was born in Texas and educated at Washington University, St Louis. She moved to Europe in the mid 1950s, living in London and the South of France. Langan covered the Paris collections for the St Louis Post-dispatch and the Chicago Sun Times as well as producing illustrated articles on London food markets and Ascot for them. Between 1976 and 1981 she illustrated posters for the London Collections for Percy Savage as well as producing drawings for Harrods, N Peal, and Yuki. Her agent was John Hodgson.
