Scope and Content

Mostly records concerning a lecture series on UK politics and society, which included a visit to Japan, including a detailed programme, November-December 2002. Including correspondence with Ken Churchill, 2004; Mike Winter 2002; Stuart Duncan Macdonald Jack about his dog biting Bernard Crick and the Japanese translator in Tokyo, 2002; Tatsuo Arima about the visit and Bernard Crick’s work on citizenship, 2002 (2). The file also includes drafts of speeches and talks including "The four nations of the United Kingdom";a copy of Sir Richard Wilsons address at Meiji University 2002; and a copy of a powerpoint presentation "The courage to collaborate" by Aideen McGinley. Also including a CD-Rom guide to Ritsumeikan, and other Japanese tourist leaflets and pamphlets.
