Surveys of Swansea. When the Swansea Local Board of Health came into being, it set about surveying the town and immediate surroundings. The result is two maps at different scales that give a detailed representation of the town. These were then used by the Local Board of Health to assist in the provision of water, sanitation and other amenities.TC 67/6/hub
