Joan and Isador Caplan Collection

This collection is largely comprised of books, pamphlets and images relating to the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, reflecting the Caplans' active involvement in their area of residence. Examples include, but are not limited to, involvement with Richmond Parish Lands Charity, Richmond Society, Richmond Hill Committee, and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.

Isador Caplan was a Richmond solicitor and campaigner. Isador and Joan Caplan were actively involved in many local charities in the Richmond upon Thames area.
