From C. Herbert Hurst [Charles Herbert Hurst (c.1856-1898), biologist]. The first letter relates to 'Weismannism', 'Heredity' and 'Neo-Lamarckianism', the second letter responds to Alexander’s lecture on ‘Philosophy and Biology’ explaining that biologists are not 'a crowd of drivelling idiots' and the third letter continues to discuss biological/philosophical perspectives.
