Thomas Cooper (Inner Temple) to Walter Griffiths (Llanvilling): arrears of rent due to the recipient from Thomas ap Hugh and others; the possibility of payment of a debt of £100 due from his cousin Richard Price; the recipient may sell the goods if Lady Eyton approves of it; his niece Ann is entering the service of some good religious lady in London; the only news at present is that Charlmount, a strong fortress in the North of Ireland, has been taken by the King's forces; were several warm debates and speeches in the House of Peers on Friday about the state of the nation, and the king was present.
