Scope and Content

Indenture made between Samuel King, yeoman, and Katherine his wife, of Ashdon, Essex, and Robert Flacke, gent., of Lynton, Cambs. Samuel King and Katherine his wife, for £4.10, sell to Robert Flacke the three roods of land, called Churchmeadowfeild in Bartlow, Cambs., abutting upon the land of Thomas Cobb, gent., E., the other head abutting upon the land...of Gyles Wakeling W. and S. and next the lands late of Blasé Pratt, gent., N. Was some time part of the inheritance of Henry Flacke, long since deceased, afterwards of Jeremy Goodwin, which S. King had of Henry Story and now in occupation of the said Samuel King. Signed by Samuel and Katherine King, their marks. This and Samuel King's receipt for £4.10 witnessed by Theo. Tyrrell, jr. and A. Humphrey.
