Collection of documents relating to student theatre in Edinburgh gathered together by Grahame Bulfield

Scope and Content

This collection consists of 67 physical items, mainly theatre programmes, hand-outs, and newspaper cuttings relating to student theatre in Edinburgh in the late 1960s. Also includes an inventory, and a list of known student performances in Edinburgh from autumn 1964 to summer 1972. Most items are originals, but a few are copies.

Item no 46 is a large A2 foyer display poster (stored separately) displaying 23 cuttings - reviews relating to the four 1967 Edinburgh Fringe Shows, namely 'Hotel Paradiso', 'Transcending', 'Giant's Dance', and 'Death in Leicester'. As well as listing the poster as an item in its own right, the list also includes the 23 reviews as separate items (items no 47 to 71, excl. no 50 and no 67).

Arrangement

Arranged as listed in the inventory. The newspaper cuttings are in a separate folder (folder 5), which also includes copies of the reviews in item no 46.
