Scope and Content

Letters from English poet and translator Peter Dale relating to: the debate on formal and informal/formless work in the first issue of Poetry Nation; poems submitted to Poetry Nation by Dale; the poetry quarterly Agenda, of which Dale was co-editor; a book entitled The poem itself edited by Stanley Burnshaw, which Dale recommends; and plans to publish a volume of Dale's selected poems.

Dated at: London SW11.

Holograph and typescript.

Arrangement

The Dale letters were originally filed with letters from Peter Dent. This was presumably done in error and the correspondence has now been divided into separate files according to correspondent. The Dent correspondence can be found at CPA/2/1/25.
