Scope and Content

Correspondence with English poet John Heath-Stubbs and his agent Elizabeth Bird of David Higham Associates Ltd (only letters /1-3 and /7 are from Heath-Stubbs himself). The correspondence principally relates to plans for the publication of a new poetry collection by Heath-Stubbs in 1978 [published as The watchman's flute], and the preparation of terms and contract. Heath-Stubbs also makes reference to Charles Sisson, and the correspondence with Bird also relates to contractual terms for a new book by Elizabeth Jennings.
