Miscellaneous collection of items given to the College reflecting aspects of musical life in the Greater Manchester area.
Includes photographs of Manchester Womens' Orchestra in the 1930s, autograph books compiled 1913-1916 containing the signatures of notable musicians, and letters from Sir Charles Hall.
This collection was brought together in January 2003. It draws together miscellaneous items donated to the RNCM and its predecessor institutions which broadly relate to musical life in Manchester from the late 19th century.
Items are numbered consecutively, in order of accession.

Items have been donated by a number of individuals to the Royal Manchester College of Music and to the Royal Northern College of Music.
