PAMPHLET: Written by Peter Frank Stott, M.A., A.M.I.C.E, entitled "The New Slipway at Beaumaris" and published by the Institution of Civil Engineers, Great George Street, Westminster, London, S.W.1, by permission of the council excerpt. proc. inst. Civ. Engrs., Part II, Vol. 5, pp. 85 - 90, Feb 1956. Pamphlet gives details in abstract form of the slipway, and the introduction tells of the necessity for the same after Saunders-Roe (Anglesey) Ltd. received an order from the admiralty to build a number of small coastal craft, requiring new launching facilities after this considerable extention to their shipbuilding activity.
