Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The River Boards Act 1948, provided that the whole of England and Wales should be covered by water boards. The Pembrokeshire Water Board was active between 1948 and 1974. The Water Board took over the powers under existing legislation of catchment boards, fishing boards and pollution prevention authorities.

Conditions Governing Access
Parts deposited by H. Thomson, Clerk and Treasurer in April 1974; transferred from Modern Records in December 1980; and donated by Andrew Roberts in February 1991.
