Custodial History
This collection was originally a transfer from York Reference Library. Original numbers 5-8, 11-19 and 26-29 were deposited in York City Library in 1952 by Lieut. Col. H. V. Scott. Original numbers 20-25 and 30 were deposited in 1953 by the Secretary of York Meeting of the Society of Friends. The rest of the collection was deposited on permanent loan in 1977 by Messrs. Munby & Scott (Solicitors, 18 Blake St, York). The collection has been recatalogued but original accession numbers have also been recorded.
