Administrative / Biographical History
Henry Matthew Brock (1875-1960), illustrator, was born on 11 July 1875. He attended the Higher Grade School, Cambridge, and studied art at the Cambridge School of Art. His first illustrations were published in 1893, and he exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Royal Institute of Painting in Watercolours from 1901. Brock's work was featured in books and magazines, including Punch. He died in Cambridge on 21 July 1960.
