Administrative / Biographical History
Barbara Jill Weir was born in 1942, daughter of Patricia Florence Singleton Weir. She was educated at County High School for Girls, Loughton. She studied Natural Sciences at Girton College from 1961 to 1967 and became the Ford Foundation Resident Fellow at the Zoological Society of London 1967-1973. She contributed to a number of scientific publications. Barbara Weir died in 1993.
