Includes note: ‘copied by Philip Thomas, Land Surveyor, Neath, 1837’. Also: pasted into back cover, ‘A map of Elias Jenkins Esqr’s Estate in the Parish of Newcastle, by John Williams, 1776’, including a picture of the house. All maps give names of surrounding landowners, and contain a separate reference table giving field names and areas in statute and customary acres, roods and perches. The owner of the majority of the lands is not given, but at the time of the Bishopston Tithe Map (1844), Robert Charles Robinson was the owner of Bryn-moel Farm.. 1776 and 1837
