Letter, dated 15th November, 1978, from John F Willsher, Deputy Chairman of EMI Ltd., to Ian Isherwood, informing him about EMI Medical's pioneer work in nuclear magnetic resonance imaging and enclosing an image of what EMI Medical believe to be the world's first NMR head scan, juxtaposed with an early CT brain scan for comparison. Also, a photocopied article on the subject published in New Scientist, 23rd November 1978.
