Correspondence and papers of Sir Con O'Neill, mainly concerning Britain's relations with the European Union.

Administrative / Biographical History

Sir Con O'Neill (1912-88) was a diplomat. He led the British officials in the delegation to negotiate Britain's membership of the European Union (formerly the European Economic Community), 1969-72. Details are given in Who Was Who.
