Scope and Content

Photographs of people, places and flora, in numbered sequence. The first album covers Vancouver Island, Hawaii and Fiji, 1925-1926; the second Fiji, 1925-1927, 1928, 1931 and 1933-1934. The third album covers Fiji, 1927, and has additional photographs by Sandy Lees, Ken Allardyce, Lorna Reay, John Campbell, [Chapman], Charles Nott, H.S. Ladd, George Roth (Warden of Sogulu), Ronald Garvey and A.F. Lees.

Administrative / Biographical History

Ronald Wood Paine, entomologist, assisted in the production of J.D. Tothill's The coconut moth in Fiji, a history of its control by means of parasites (Imperial Bureau of Entomology, 1930).
