Administrative / Biographical History

Norah Parr, author, was a descendant of  James Hogg's daughter Harriet, who married Robert Gilkison and emigrated to New Zealand in  1879 . She developed an interest in her great-grandfather, prompting her to draft a biography of Hogg, which was published in  1980 .
