An extremely important collection of telegrams covering almost the entire period of Diaghilev's Ballets Russes. The larger part of the collection consists of telegrams to and from Serge Diaghilev, largely responding to requests for his decisions, or in answer to his questions. A number of telegrams relate to departures and arrivals of members of the company, providing useful information about individual and company movements. There are also a number of telegrams to and from Stravinsky which have been separated from the correspondence series.
