LETTER: Mary Francis, Awelfan, Plasyfron, Fishguard, Pembrokeshire, to G.N.J. apologising for the delay in reply.

After the Margory Glen her father had command of the sailing ship Grace Harwar that was then sold to the Greeks, so he gave up the sea February 1913. Her father had 2 houses built in Fishguard, one each for her brother and herself.

Her brother died age 52 in 1945 having been in command for M.V. Statira, which was sunk by the enemy off the North of Scotland and commended for saving the ship's papers.

He then had command of the new vessel Empire Drum that was sunk off New York.
