Letter from Edwin Norris, Secretary, to Brian Houghton Hodgson, Darjeeling, in response to Hodgson's letter to the Society deploring the use of European names for localities already provided with native names. He is informed that the Society's members unanimously concur with this view and details of this have been sent to the Athenaeum and the Literary Gazette. (Found on page 232)
