Hardback notebook with handwritten label pasted onto cover: List in J.N. Darby’s writing of those in fellowship at Raleigh St., Plymouth in 1847 (after the Newton division); also random notes on doctrinal matters.
In December 1845, G.V. Wigram, the owner of the Raleigh St. Chapel, demanded the return of the chapel by Brethren from Ebrington St., marking a separation between Exclusive and Open Brethren in Plymouth. The list therefore contains the names of those in fellowship with Wigram and Darby, some 215 persons in March 1847. The list is annotated and additions are made in other hands, down to 2nd March 1848 at least.
Random notes on doctrinal matters:
- Notes taken from Wilberforce on baptism
- Notes from patristic literature
- Notes on the Book of Enoch
- Quotations in Epistle to Hebrews
