INA (Isititue Nazionale per le Assocurazione) was a national housing authority responsible for public housing in Italy from 1949-1962, in particular a programme of post-war housing construction in major cities. Emberton was particularly inspired by his visit to Italy in developing his own ideas for post-war reconstruction and housing development.
