Recording of Edward II written by Christopher Marlowe, directed by Toby Robertson, by Prospect Theatre Company at the Edinburgh Festival followed by a UK and European tour from 28 August 1969 to 21 March 1970. Ian McKellen played the role of King Edward. Three 12 inch LP records in a case featuring Ian McKellen on cover. Also includes sheet with full cast list and page on the history of the play and Marlowe's sources.
