RECORDS OF ALFRED BURTON, HAIRDRESSER, OF HEADINGTON

Scope and Content

This small collection consists of three volumes of household and business accounts which belonged to Alfred John Burton. He ran Highfield Hairdressing Salon in 39 Lime Walk, before moving to number 65 in the early 1950s.

The books were given to the office via the Museum of Oxford in February 1995, accession number 3939.
